First day of School

The first day of school.

It is still crazy to me that all my kids are gone all day. I think I am going to have all this free time and get so much done. I never get it all done but I do get most things done. I do hope that they have a great year and learn and grow.

Tattum Rae Willis

Tattum Rae Willis, Born August 3, 2014.

Weighing 8 pounds, 12 ounces and 21.5 inches long.

She is a doll and we are excited to have her in the family.

 

Camping

Christopher Creek

 

I love this camping trip. It is a ton of work to get ready to camp for three days but the kids love it and so do I. This year we had great weather, no rain and not too hot. The kids all play with their cousins and it's so nice to not have to worry about them. They get good and dirty and sleep so well at night.

California

We took two trips to Huntington Beach this summer. I don't think we ever get enough of the beach. My kids are the biggest beach bums around and we live six hours from the beach. I love that they are not afraid of the water and I love that they love the beach. Since Ryan and I love it so much it would be a shame if we had a child who hated the beach.

Saguaro Lake

Since we got the boat we have had so much fun going out to Saguaro Lake.

This year Ryan had Kate and Jay try surfing. They loved it. We all love the lake and want to go as much as possible.

 This is one of my favorite pictures. They tried so hard to get a pyramid on the tube. They were able to get Jack, Kate and Randy but no one else.

4th of July

Fourth of July

 

It's my favorite holiday. I love celebrating our independence. I love celebrating with my family and I really love going to Show Low. The city puts on a great parade and an even better fireworks show. It's so nice to be outside and enjoying the great weather. I hope I am able to teach my kids how blessed they are to be living in the US.

stand up paddle boarding

Stand up Paddle Boarding or SUP as it's know was so much fun. Julie knew someone who rents the boards so one afternoon we went out. I was a little shaky at first but I think I got the hang of it. I never fell off which was good. I really like seeing the wild horses in the river. But the best part was watching Joe and Julie play chicken. Julie was sitting on her board and Joe was standing up. Joe really thought Julie would move but she didn't and Joe fell into the water. We laughed about that. I love my family and was happy to be able to spend some time with them.
