The Boston Marathon
What an incredible experience. Ryan said it was the best race ever and he was so happy he had a chance to run the Boston Marathon, especially after the 2013 bombings. What a cool city Boston is and I was amazed at how much the people in the city love this marathon and how "Boston Strong" they really are. The atmosphere surrounding the marathon was electric. The people all cheered and loved the runners. Ryan swears he ran at least 27 miles, not the 26.2, since he swerved all through out the race giving the spectators high fives. He said the entire race had people lined up cheering him on. I am so happy for him and amazed that he can qualify for this race. His pace to qualify is just over a seven minute mile for 26.2 miles. Way too fast for me but Ryan did it and so glad he did.
Boston Marathon time: 3:46:27
