Fun Run

The kids had a fun run at school. It was fun to watch them run around and try their hardest. The each got sponsors and raised money for Hermosa Vista.  Way to go Ricedorff kids and I love that they got their exercise in and raised money.
They each ran 35 laps, the most that they could.

Jack running. This was the best I could do since he was embarrassed I was there.

Jay and Wilson, best buds after the fun run. They ran together the entire time.

Kate all done. I love her red face.

Kate is six

My Kate is six years old now. I can't believe she is growing up so fast. She got to have a friend birthday party at the park and had a great time. Then she got to celebrate her birthday with the Ricedorffs, go shopping with Grandma and Grandpa Goodman, and finally on her birthday she got to go to the movies and then to Barro's. She had a great birthday week and I think she was happy.
Kate is wonderful and I love how she likes to dance and sing and smile. She is friendly and loves being around people. Kate is a special girl and I know I am blessed to have her as a daughter and get a chance to raise her.
I love my little Kate Dyan Ricedorff

Kate and Alexis. Their birthdays are two days apart so they get to celebrate together often. Lexi is a great example to Kate and someone she can look up to.

Arrow of Light

Arrow of Light
I'm so proud of Jack. He worked hard and received his Arrow of Light award in Cub Scouts. He went to Havasupai, learned to tie knots, visited an artist, learned first aide, was physically fit and so many more things to earn this award. He is now moving on to Boy scouts and hopefully will earn he Eagle. Way to go Jack.

Here is Jack and James putting together the bridge which is symbolic of crossing over to boy scouts.
