I hate these things!!!! I know hate is a strong word, but when one stings yours child hate is not strong enough. Jack was stung on Saturday night and I felt so bad for him. He took it in stride and thankfully he only hurt and didn't have any other problems. This is probably the only thing I don't like about where I live.
I'm sorry. I hope he's doing better! In the four years we've lived here we've yet to see one. You guys should move down south by us! I know we don't have them here where we live because we have LOTS of crickets. (Scorpions preferred food) Although at times the annoying chirping noise bugs me I'll take it over the scorpions any day!
ReplyDeleteI HATE THEM TOO and I do something about it! Everynight I go out with a black light and get rid of them...I have been doing this for 3 or 4 years...the most I have found in one night was 23 (eliminated!!) Sometimes I just do around the house but usually I do the entire wall, etc....last night I got rid of 3...the #'s are shrinking!! I have also gone over into your folks back yard and Steve and Cindy's...ALWAYS getting rid of some there so YOU"RE WELCOME!!! Just hopeing that your mom doesn't ever get stug again...she's been stug more than most people I know!! I also hate the heat of AZ. That what brings out the scorpions!! Hope Jack is alright...he's counted among the real AZ men now!!!
