Memorial Day 2013 was both good and bad. I love going up to Show Low and enjoying the much cooler weather. But this year Grandpa Jack was riding a horse and fell off. His shoulder was knocked out of socket, he broke two ribs and punctured his lung. He was pretty beat up but overall it could have been much worse and he is healing. We were concerned but thankful he is getting better. This year like all other years Ryan played softball but we also went fishing with the kids and they loved it. Although they did get a little bored when they didn't catch anything. I think my kids could get use to being outside and playing all day long.

After a long day of playing in the dirt you gotta take a bath. The bathtub got filled up and Kate and Jay put their swimsuits on and joined Duke for a little swim. They had way too much fun taking a bath.
Jack got to ride the quad. He is getting way too comfortable on the quad by himself and I really don't like it.
Thankfully Haley Bartlett was as the games to entertain the kids. I wouldn't let them use my phone so they bugged Haley and they were all happy. Ella, Haley, Alli, Jay and Kate.
